—so here I’m adding something. Try volunteer work. Be aware that since many now know it’s a good way to build a resume, even that can be competitive, but some people build a whole new life through volunteering.
I don’t know how many LA fitness branches in northern cities have pools, but water aerobics doesn’t stress the joints like many forms of exercise. I too have minor balance problems and it makes no difference in the water. Some instructors do a really easy program.It’s so hot at all hours in Phoenix in the summer that it’s really a good choice.
