I have enough units completed to get a BA...but, never could pass a math class. Nothing above third grade math. I'm sure I have a learning disability that, back in the years I was in elementary school, was not addressed in any way except for teachers to say "You're not trying hard enough".

My daughter has severe GAD, got her AA, and is in grad school. Her anxiety was never ignored by my husband and I; she was given treatment. A great thing.
School definitely has been a struggle for me due to my ADHD and orher learning disability, i’m just so proud to have got this done. We as people with mental illnesses need to be extremely proud of ourselves even if we have to work harder than our oeers. I had alot of times I wanted to give up but I kept going.
My mom used to tell me that I wasnt trying hard enough and using ADHD as an excuse, but it really is hard managing life with it.
