Im sorry that you took my posts as criticizing you. maybe if I explain what I was doing in them will help...
when I notice someone new posting in this forum I point them to the disclaimer at the bottom of the page or I let them know in my posts why I wont give then a sure answer to their question.
then later on sometimes I question my own posts, being this site doesnt allow us to just hop in and delete our own posts after a certain amount of time and there is a limit on how many times we can ask that a post be deleted , I do a post walking myself and who ever may be reading through my process of how I came to what I posted in the first place. then I put the words "my post stands" as a way of letting myself know that this post has been "talked aloud". rethought and I came to the same conclusion.
It does not mean you are doing anything wrong, just that I am walking myself through how I posted what I did. clarifying my post.
in this case I happened to be reading posts while not logged and I noticed others did not see what I thought I was reading, it was too late to delete and I didnt want to ask for a delete needlessly, So I walked myself through my own post and how I came to posting what I did.
some people talk aloud to their self when they question their self, some people pace when they question their self, I walk myself through things step by step.
Sometimes when I have walked myself though my own posts here on psych central step by step, it also helps others to understand me and my posts better.
my point Im not criticizing you, I was second guessing ........me........ and how I came to what i posted. again sorry if I confused and upset you.
