Have you had a conversation with her about it? That would be a good step if you haven't.
I'm not sure that form of licensing means that the T can't do individual therapy around issues other than marriage/family. It's more like a "regular" therapist isn't necessarily qualified for couples or families but a MF counselor is trained to understand individuals and work with various problems and then has experience on top of it. Can't understand a couple or a family unless you can understand individuals.
