Congratulations on getting your AA degree. That is a wonderful accomplishment.

It took me 3 years to get my AA. I changed majors as a junior from music (AA) to Accounting Information Systems & Computer Science which took me another 5 years to achieve.

I got married 1 1/2 years after starting on my BS. I took a semester off for a 6 week trip to Rome. Then a year later I got pregnant. That was a battle because I had no intentions of stopping the work in my degree. H had other ideas that went against the agreement we made before we got married. I won that battle. Had our daughter (by c-section) 10 months before I graduated. I didn't even celebrate that accomplishment because it was such a war in our marriage but I had 3 job offers to choose from before I graduated & I personally celebrated getting ready to start me career right after the 1st of the year.....for me it was a great accomplishment because no one else in my family except very distant relatives had ever gone to a university let along graduated. I had to sort my own way through it having no mentors or anyone I knew that I could discuss any college issues with. It was a challenge I was grateful to achieve & graduate with a 3.25 GPA.

Ok....at 65 & retired I want to go back & get my masters in theology at a local university 10 minutes from my farm. When all my divorce mess is over I will seriously look into doing this
