I went to therapy and talked about my housing goals, which are to have a house bought and closed by January, make some renovations to it, and move in by March.
I have literally $30,070 in the bank that I've been saving up for a long time. This should hopefully be enough to cover the downpayment, any renovations, moving, and terminating my lease agreement early. (FYI, $30k here is pennies. We get paid more in this area than most of the U.S. because of the extremely high cost of living. Houses here are around $250-500k on average, with many of them being around $700k+. It's b.s. because a house from the 1930s with no A/C should NOT cost $250k for 900 sq ft. It's probably so old that there is heat leakage.)
