Diarrhea doesn't sound fun at all. I've been getting that a lot lately with all this OTC crap (no pun intended) that I'm taking.
Senna was an AWFUL idea on my GP's part, especially after being told to take TWO pills before bed every night. It literally gave me major, awful cramps last night and into the morning. Then I went to the bathroom really badly. I'm never taking that again.
Ugh. Maybe Amitiza is a good option at this rate. I'll ask about it and mention the diarrhea I got from my GP's awful "suggestion." Maybe I'll even go to a GI doctor if my GP doesn't want to prescribe Amitizia. And if not that, I'll do the Linzess like you suggested.
I'll also try WC's suggestion of a fiber pill to see if that helps in the interim. I don't know why the f*** my GP suggested an extreme laxative to take every night, but I'm never doing it again. The cramps were literally an 8/10 on a pain scale from 1-10. Like very bad period cramps.
