Up until last year, I used to think how great it was to live in Florida and not have to deal with snow. I'm from Jersey, so I know what a blizzard is like. Here in Tampa, we were fortunate compared to areas just south and east of us which got leveled by last year's hurricanes but we still had two of them pass through here as a category 1 in a span of less than two weeks. In the 20 years I've been here, I've never seen anything that even came close to this. All the non stop fear and anxiety those storms cause is unreal. At the time, I remember thinking I'd give anything to be shoveling snow instead.
