I'm born and bred in Canada but everyone asks me where my accent is from and swears that I sound American. I usually just laugh and blame it on the speach pathologist I had when I was little, I had trouble learning to talk, in part due to a misformed pallet and so I got special tutoring in how to talk for a bout 3 years when I was in elementary school.
