Geeze, I don't feel so bad, we only got a foot.

But the drifts are insane. I had to stand in snow covering my THIGHS (I'm 5'4") to brush off my car yesterday morning! And there was a ton of ice on it too.
When it slowed down and the streets were merely horrible, an improvement from putrid, I went to the grocery store. Grocery store parking lot was not very well plowed, so it was tough to get the cart to the car! I felt really bad for the poor kids who had to collect a bunch to bring in.
Anyway, with my back bumper covered in snow and ice, and some junk on my trunk too, I went to unlock the trunk .... ooomph .... HOORAY! My key bent! Still opens the trunk, still opens the door, won't turn in the ignition. I had to call a friend to come rescue me and take me home so I could get my spare key.
I tell you what -- I'm from Missouri, and every year about this time, I seriously consider going back there.

Summers are absolutely brutal, but so are Wisconsin winters! I think it'd be a fair trade.
Hope everyone has dug out by now and is relaxing with a good book and some hot chocolate.
