There was this poll on here recently about phrases that your T has said to you. I checked almost all of them except "I'm proud of you." Well, I guess I could go check that one off now. T just responded to my "thera-aversary," thanks-for-being-there, I-know-there-have-been-conflicts-but-I-like-working-with-you, etc. etc. email. And as part of that very kind response, he said: "I'm proud of the work that you've done and keep doing, and I hope that you are proud of yourself for it. I see a budding strength in you!" I know some people might find that to be cheesy or patronizing, but it really touched me. (And I'm pretty sure he knew that it would.)
