I don't care about sports. Hardly know any of the current actors or singers. Don't have a smartphone or want one. I'm concerned about privacy and security. Though I have no life, I don't like the idea of being "followed" or "tracked". I think those companies try to convince people they "need" one. So they can make money.

I have an old-fashioned "dumb" cell phone that works for me. It can make calls and text, even though I hardly have anyone to call or text.

I still have my landline because it's durable and has great reception no matter what.

I never watched Game of Thrones, though it sounds like my cup of tea. But I don't have HBO nor do I have anything like Netflix or Hulu. I know I'm missing some programs (like Bosch and Handmaid's Tale for example), but I hope not too much...

I don't even know what the latest fads are. I hate it when people ask why do I still have a landline. Why is it their concern? I don't care what they think, don't get me wrong. I just hate people expecting everyone to be like them or have the latest smartphone to take stupid selfies. (Stupid word!) There's another phone out that generated LONG, LONG lines to get it!

I don't own a Kindle or want one. I read books in print, the old-fashioned way.

It's a bit inconvenient at times to access e-mail since I can only do it at the (limited hours) library with their slow, old browsers. But only one person e-mails me regularly. Stupid apartment manager wants to send e-mail to everyone so she doesn't have to post notices on doors. That's HER JOB. I'm not getting a smartphone so she can send e-mail, as it's convenient for HER. Besides, it's always bad news. I don't want that crap in my e-mail.
