This morning, I was in charge of D since H was working a seminar for a sport where he's a referee. She was really whiny this morning, took her to gymnastics, where she seemed to be doing OK, so I decided to go for a walk in the area. Went on some trails in the woods right there, then, uh, got turned around, tried to find my way back, was blocked by a fence, and had to use Google maps to get back to the gymnastics place before it was time to get her! (Made it with 5 minutes to spare. Got some extra steps in, I guess...)
Then the smoothie place I normally take her to turned out to be closed, and I had to figure out how to get to another one, while she was flipping out in the backseat. On the way to that smoothie place, while stopped at a stoplight, I got rear-ended. Thankfully, no visible damage, so I waved off the apologetic driver (it wasn't that hard of a hit, so not worried about whiplash or anything--yeah, I know I should have gotten his insurance or whatever, but it's fine). Was sort of relieved when, after getting the smoothie, she just wanted to go home instead of grocery shopping!
