Went on some trails in the woods right there, then, uh, got turned around, tried to find my way back, was blocked by a fence, and had to use Google maps to get back to the gymnastics place before it was time to get her! (Made it with 5 minutes to spare. Got some extra steps in, I guess...)

Then the smoothie place I normally take her to turned out to be closed, and I had to figure out how to get to another one, while she was flipping out in the backseat. On the way to that smoothie place, while stopped at a stoplight, I got rear-ended. Thankfully, no visible damage, so I waved off the apologetic driver (it wasn't that hard of a hit, so not worried about whiplash or anything--yeah, I know I should have gotten his insurance or whatever, but it's fine). Was sort of relieved when, after getting the smoothie, she just wanted to go home instead of grocery shopping!
Ugh about getting rear ended!! I hope you're both ok.
Thanks for this!
