I have hypothyroidism but I take synthroid for it. They beleive that is what brought on my a-fibrillation. The inability to tolorate cold was the only sign I had that told me I had hypothyroidism. Even then I didnt know I had it, I just figured it was the raynauds syndrome I get in my fingers and toes. I dont have Hashimoto, but at least they found out you had it before any more damage could be done.
