Hi Dewskie. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I lost my brother about 2 years ago, and he kept popping up everywhere for me. Whether I was driving or working, I'd see his face everywhere. It was a surreal experience. I'd have nightmares about his accident (someone was driving too fast and not paying attention when my brother was crossing the street).

I didn't talk about it with anyone either. It actually angered me when people would look at me with pity and stuff. I kept it all inside and disconnected emotionally and moved away after everything settled down.

When you say that you haven't grieved yet, do you mean crying? I didn't cry about the loss of my brother until maybe a year after it happened. Mine came randomly at work and I had to hide in the broom closet to calm myself. We all process it differently and at different times.

It helps to get out some stuff and this community has been kind. Feel free to message me if you need to.
