I agree with coolibrarian. Writing it down can really be helpful so you don't forget in between. Sometimes I have said something that wasn't quite what I meant to say and then in the next session I explain it better (at least I think so). I do keep a daily journal type thing, mostly for mood tracking, but I also write down questions for therapist or anything I meant to say in therapy so that way I will remember.
