I wonder if people might be tempted to post a specific topic in (for example) the general forum rather than a more specific forum because the general forum gets a greater volume of traffic?

I mean... If 100 people frequent whatever forum my post gets forwarded onto and 1,ooo people frequent the general forum then I might well be better off giving my post some airtime in the general forum before it (regrettably) gets diverted.

Just a thought...
