Oh, yeah, we're all going to misplace threads at times. I did not to long ago actually. It's going to happen for sure...and most to all of the time, it's not intentional.

That's why I just posted this gentle reminder to take a look-see just to see if there's somewhere a thread would specifically place.

I'm not saying no thread should never, ever be misplaced, as I said, I recently did it.

It's just that when many posts all posts in one forum (when there's another specific place) it bogs down that forum. When that happens, threads get quickly buried, move from the page quickly, etc...kinda defeating the purpose.

The General forum is mostly for threads that specifically don't fit into another forum.
