I think that particular responses are not important per se. I personally would not write down anything to talk about in next session.
If the interaction got you thinking later on then this is good enough already. It means that some process is going on and to my mind it doesn't really matter if it happens in the session or between the sessions.
However, at the same time the interaction in the session is important as well. I mean spontaneous interaction and that is the reason I would not ever go into session with a list of things to talk about because then immediately the whole interaction is controlled.
If what you thought about comes to your mind during the session and you feel you want to share it then I think you should share it. However, if it doesn't come to mind then I would say it's not important at that moment for the interactive process with the T. I would just go with whatever feels important and comes to mind at this point.
