I know what you mean about professionals not caring. My first therapist didn't care about me and even accused me of being a liar about my depression when I was diagnosed with it by my pdoc. "No, you're not depressed. That's not what depression looks like. Your psychiatrist is mistaken. Perhaps you described the wrong thing. I haven't seen you depressed." Wtf lady? I wish I were joking. But she is no longer a therapist. Thank God.

(it’s so sad how clueless and cruel some of them are

I deleted part of my post - where I asked how do I stop being “low functioning” and having thoughts of su etc..aside from medication (allergic)
I feel “guilty” or something for posting.

. The “professionals” in this forest, or so many of them, don’t want to listen, and blame us for not “benefiting” from 6 sessions of sub optimal CBT, or from the scare tactics or fobbing off of the GP’s
I do have “Depression” in my notes but am supposed to “get on with it” in silence.
