Yes, it's for my health (diabetes and cirrhosis) I started putting some cayenne pepper and hot sauce on the meat I eat--it helps. That's a good idea to look up recipes from another area! I'll do that. I've started eating raw veggies a lot, too, and am starting to appreciate them--they really are good once you get used to the idea of eating them. Thanks for your ideas.
