I'm not sure. It seems that I get sick more often these days, I think b/c I'm a little more isolated (I'm not around enough germs to build up immunity, so when something hits, it hits hard - maybe?)

I had that terrible flu last year - and I'm still upset about it. There was a "color analyst" traveling to my town (!) in January who I had booked a session with, to find out what colors best flatter my skin. I was so excited! And, then I got the flu, and had to cancel. I thought about trying to go see her anyway (I had emailed her, and she was OK with me coming sick) - but it's a long process, sitting under lights, staring at your face in the mirror... and I was so miserable. I certainly didn't want to look at myself, with my puffy eyes, red nose, etc!

But SeekerofLife - I want to hear more about this iodine thing! I'm going to google it, but wow! Thanks for mentioning it... that sounds really helpful. Are there any risks (i.e. any risk of getting too much iodine)?

Several years ago, I had some weird skin thing... an "eruption" (maybe two, if I remember right) - that was scary and looked different than anything else that I'd ever seen my skin do. I saw advice online that iodine could be used for something similar, so I tried it - and amazingly, it worked! No scars, I can't even remember where they were now. It was hard, b/c I ended up with iodine on my clothes, and the smell lingered for quite a long time... but I was so excited and grateful to fix the problem (without a doctor's visit). And, no pain either! Win!

So.... the thought that iodine might help with other stuff on the inside doesn't seem totally surprising. And my energy levels are generally crappy, so bonus if it helps that too. *hmmm* - thanks!
