Benzos are so helpful. When they were all the trend, pdocs were prescribing them to everyone, regardless of diagnosis. Then...my belief is that 2 things happened that caused the avoidance of benzo prescribing. One, they're cheap. Pharma isn't advertising benzos to pdocs anymore because there's no money to be made.

The other reason? The War on Drugs. Stupidest movement and largest failure ever; only hurts patients.
