Actually I read it wrong.....that mother that told you her 14 year old son got invited to the party should be the one going to the mom to tell not you. You are 3rd party it it that other mothers responsibility to say something not you (i read it first that it was your son invited & another mother told you about the party situation which was my first response was what it was...closer reading....not your responsibility but that responsibility definitely belongs to the mom of the 14 year old.
