That said, my anxiety hasn't been that bad of late. So I'm not sure what I can say that would be helpful.

this actually does work. I have a grounding box with various items inside that have to do with the senses
I have crystals to touch, I have pictures of celebrities, I have a torch shaped like a cat, I have things to smell, I have loads of stuff.. and it does help
I don't take it with me everywhere (because it's so big), but I'll usually pick one or too items and take them with me
