I have been seeing my therapist for almost 13 years. He does not embarrass easily.
Today we were talking about something and he tried to say "Susan (name changed), my son's girlfriend" and my wife and I went to my old church. Instead it came out as "Susan my girlfriend". I must have had a really weird look on my face before I started laughing really hard and asked how his wife ("Jane") feels about his girlfriend.
And I finally wasn't the one blushing in that room . He laughed too and said about three times "my girlfriend is JANE" but it was a pretty funny twist of words. I enjoyed it.
