Crook32, I am sorry to hear how you are feeling right now. If you like your T try to set up a limit to how much you contact her that works for both of you. Good ones are often too busy to take calls a lot. I hope she did not tell you to stop bothering her, perhaps you can work something out with her. Some therapists see too many people to have time to do things like respond to a lot of emails and phone calls. Mine does not really want me to do that and I have been seeing him twice a month for almost 20 years. My pdoc does not want me to call her unless I need to go to the hospital.

When I told my T I was going to join a forum I thought he would not like it but he surprised me and said it was a good thing and a lot of therapists consider it almost like group therapy. Here at PC there are enough active people that you can make friends and get support and a lot of people are happy to PM with you if you find that helpful.

You do NOT need a gun.

Please reach out to us whenever you need to.
