Can you, and would you like to, share some of your main concerns or "issues" and the ways that T's have hurt you ? I for one don't doubt that.
I've had a couple of life stressors recently and lucked in to talking to a couple of "peers" on a warm line in my area who get it. They are able to listen and then reflect back what they have heard. And then add something from their own experience which is similar or at least relevant. Do you have anything like that in the UK? I didn't find anything from a quick search but maybe there is something?
Nevertheless, if you don't have that resource I understand you have to try something and I would, too. Hope something works out for you, at least a little.
