I have an adult child who lives in another state. In newly in recovery from alcoholism. Completed a residential treatment and is now in IOP. Was to be taking prozac, etc. for depression.
I am not sure if he is taking it because his depression is becoming worse. He tells me how it is unbearable and now he started self harming himself by cutting again like he did before he turned to booze.

He won't tell the therapist because he feels they will put him on an M1 hold.

I told him he needs to talk to someone but he won't.

He said he was going to double up on his prozac... without talking to the doctor?
