I have been helped at different times by different meds right now I am on walmart generic celexa someone asked me if I knew where it was made-good question how would I find out. BTW I am on 80 mgs and keep skipping taking them because they dont' seem to be doing much. Maybe these are bad generics? are there such a thing?

On your prescription bottle, at the bottom of the label, they will usually type the manufacturer of the generic. If it is not there, ask your pharmacist at the time you got the prescription filled. They definitely know. Yes, some generics do not work better than the original or than other generics of the same thing. I think Wellbutrin is a good example. When it went to generics, it stopped working effectively for many users. User beware! There was a time when I would only accept a specific generic manufacturer for a med I was on. It was no problem for my pharmacist to order it for me from that manufacturer. The cost was the same to them (I wasn't asking for the name brand). If Wal-Mart will not do this for you, switch pharmacies.
