Now I'm glad we never had a microwave growing up - before I came to university I'd only ever used one once or twice in home economics lessons at school, so I can function fine without one. It does make life a lot easier, but I still don't think mum's convinced, so I doubt we'll be having one at home in the near future. Hope yours gets fixed soon!

As for technology I couldn't live without...it'd have to be my computer. Or my alarm clock.
