We all die alone. I Loved my mom and we wanted to be there when she passed but after several false alarms.. my brother and family went home. And, she passed.. alone.

There is simply no guarantee you will be with your family or, if you are, you will even have awareness of them, due to drugs or illness. My mother was on morphene and we didn't know if she even had any awareness of anything.

What if your demise happens in a way where people can't be there, car accident, overdose, earthquake?

Even those with the most loving friends and family will not necessarily end their lives surrounded in the hollywood family end situation.

Make peace with dying alone and be happily surprised if you don't.
