I too have days when I don't sleep. My problem is that I have so many things I'm trying to get finished & I get involved in something that I need to do....then all of a sudden, it's 7am & the sun is coming up. Then I want to get what I started finished because if I leave it unfinished, it will never get done & I stay up longer & longer.....then I get into something else that needs accomplished on my list & the same things happens the next night. I go like this until I completely crash. The same thing happens with eating also...when I get so involved in doing things, I don't even think about eating.....these stressful times are very unhealthy because I loose bunches of weight.

I have always been like this even when I was a kid & finishing school projects. I would work until I got it finished than I would crash for days. Did the same thing in my engineering career. When a project had a dead line, I would work continually until I got it finished, then I was dead when the "dead line" hit.

Guess I'm always afraid I won't finish what needs to get finished. I just can't relax until I feel that I have successfully finished the job otherwise. Sometimes I just end up crashing before if the task takes too long or I have so many things going on all at the same time....then it takes me forever to get back to finish what I was working on.

Don't know if that's exactly insomnia or not....but I sure don't sleep much right now.....when I finally get some sleep, I'm out for at least 1 day.

I can definitely feel for you,
Debbie
