I went through one dresser drawer stuffed with T-shirts & other shirts, short & long sleeved (mostly T-shirts). There were a couple of throwaways (holes in the clothes), probably nearly 1/3 to donate (just don't think I could manage a garage sale), and nothing is name brand anyway.
I tried everything on, except a few shirts that were worn recently and knew I liked. I had a lot of "OMG, what was I thinking??!" items, but they were in good enough shape to donate.
Now, I am washing things, hoping I can get wrinkles out of these clothes. Not sure how long they've been in the drawer, but a good estimate is 2 years at the minimum. Trying some online tips first, and I hope too much will not need ironing. I hate ironing. And there were some shirts in there I know I need to hang.
I actually have a lot of clothes to go through, but baby steps. At least I will have one drawer sorted & organized.
