Yes, if stuff goes bad, and the pdoc is on vacation, depending on the time and day (weekend/holiday, etc.) and urgency, I either call the cell phone he checks every couple of hours for voicemails or leave an urgent message with the staff telling them when the pdoc checks his messages to have him call me; I need to speak with him & it cannot wait.
