My doctor first had suspicions of bipolar when I became manic on an antidepressant. I was 17 at the time. It wasn't until I had a full fledged mixed episode in college that I was officially diagnosed. Sometimes the way we react to meds is a good clue. I hope you are able to manage your symptoms.
