I don't have a lot of experience with rabbits. I dimly recall having had one as a kid many years ago. But the one thing I do know is that they'll chew on almost anything (including electrical cords.)

So if your bunny isn't in its cage, you have to keep a close eye on it. I would presume that getting as young a bunny as possible, & handling it frequently, will go a long way toward helping it adjust to human attention. I also had hamsters growing up. And that was the way it was with them.
