I've been on klonopin or ativan for 16 years. I'm already on gabapentin so I can use a PRN dose of that if needed but my pdoc doesn't want me on more than I am taking of it either. I think eventually I'll be coming down on it too as my state is starting to track it like opiods (I'm in a place where the opiod mess is huge).
Charlie is doing better. He's on a diet food now that both he and his sister like (thank God) and while I call it their gold nuggets he hasn't had another sore in a while. He's still on steroids though and we won't know for sure if it is the food or the steroids until he's done with them which is several weeks away. He's getting really tired of meds; I understand completely. Thanks for asking. He's my sweet boy.

My state tracks meds, too. Gabapentin and Lyrica are now on the tracking list. The opioid epidemic is severe here, too.
I am glad Charlie is improving!
Thanks for your response!
