I saw he went to the parking lot. I didn't know what that means or what he was doing. If he stayed right where he was when I hit him or stayed on the side of the road, I woulda known he pulled over. I'm not trying to avoid responsibility. I just didn't know what he was doing. It turned out his car sustained enough damage to file an insurance claim but thankfully, the person didn't get harmed.
