I don't think evil is more powerful but I think many who are not evil tend to be naieve thinking that people wouldn't do bad stuff like that because they can't comprehend thinking like that. When we are not aware of what is happening we tend to let evil go on longer than it should be allowed.

Some cased evil preys on the weaker people because they feel they can't or won't be able to fight back.

I was surprised when I caught the home care person abusing my mom when she was dying of cancer. However I saw red flags that had started at the very beginning. Things I observed over just 5 days all added up & the police got involved. They didn't have enough evidence to file charges against her because I did a good enough job of blocking her damage up front. She totally disappeared. I am sure she is still doing her evil elsewhere but she sure didn't get away with the evil she intended to do with me & my mom. Think she was after getting my mom's house by getting me out of the way. It all backfired on her & my mother's boyfriend's daughter who was in on it too. Evil doesn't always win though many times it does.
