I’ve not played it yet but Pillars of Eternity is a modern classic RPG that is meant to be very good. Lots of dialogue options and reading involved.
I bought it last Christmas but just haven’t got around to it. So my recommendation is hearsay but might be worth a look. Classic RPGs are a niche market but I know you enjoyed Kotor so that’s why I’m mentioning this.
