So glad you didn't drink last night. Now that enough time has passed, I don't miss it that much though sometimes the commercials make me think--that would taste so good right now.

It is good that your spouse is supportative. If mine still drank (and therefore was keeping alcohol around the house), I likely would drink more than I do and I shouldn't either because of my medications. I think it is helpful to not spend a lot of time with people who encourage you to drink which reminds me that I did have some margaritas and occassionally drank a glass of wine when I visited my dad in January (So more than just one drink in the past year). His girlfriend is a heavy drinker and I am afraid that I abstain when I am with nondrinkers but tend to join in when I am with people who do drink. Hope your family and friend either don't drink or drink very moderately.

One day at a time and if you mess up one day--that doesn't mean you can't do better the next. Making changes in your life takes time. You can do this....
