Yes! I know that freaks some people out but he's always done this - not too often but usually at just the right times. He did explain that he would prefer that I call and ask for him to call back because then he knows he won't make things worse for me by checking in. He worried that I'd get myself together and then he'd undo that by calling. But he knows that sometimes I just can't make myself reach out and bother him.

I also had to reassure him that I wouldn't infer that he thought I was weak or helpless without him if he did check in. I take it totally as a sign of caring and understanding. I'll echo Pink - I love my T too!
