I do believe my T really cares. If I didn't, I wouldn't be going to see him.

I am a teacher and I really care about my students. In fact, I was just laying here thinking (just woke up) about a couple of them and some concerns I have about their well being and ability to pass the semester. It is my profession and I get paid but my care is genuine.

T cares and gets paid because he has to take care of his family too. So we can think of it as chipping in with his other clients to keep him going so he can care for us and help us learn to love ourselves.
