I like raging vortex's suggestion of buying out a KFC

My parents bought $20 worth and I bought one ticket.

My parents wouldn't know what to do. They're already retired and they said they wouldn't want to live anywhere else...before they retired I always hoped to retire them out.

I would retire myself and my brother out, and I would make sure my parents would never have to worry about money until they pass on.

Honestly, as far as housing goes, the only house I'd want is to have my grandparent's house when they pass away (they would be stubborn about accepting money, but I'd at least offer). That house has always felt the most "home" to me, and I think mansions are lonely, frivolous, cold, and a lot of upkeep. I'd spend a lot of my time working on the upkeep of the house, learn how to use all the tools my Papa used, learn how to garden, be a handyman, get a new working hot tub and maybe install a pool, although there really isn't the space for a pool. Maybe if I had that kind of money, I'd buy the houses surrounding the house and make an extension of my property with the plus side of having no neighbors on either side of me. I'm not sure if I'd keep the neighboring houses or demolish them. I'm sure I can come up with something creative to do with them, or to demolish the houses and create an Eden of my choice.

I wouldn't work again in the sense of a paycheck, but I would do a lot of volunteer work. I've always dreamed of working at the Queensland Zoo long before my late hero Steve Irwin was killed, and because I would have so much money, I could fly there from my home on weekends and fly back. I'd volunteer a lot with animals and do a lot of beach cleanups, and I would volunteer with the elderly. I think I'd continue to go to school. I love to learn. But if I had all the money in the world, I could fly over the world going to these big seminars and really learn something you can't learn in school.

I'm not a big car person, but I'd definitely buy something really nice. Dunno what, but most likely a classic car.
