Logden, I wonder if the way you took that was not the way Sky intended it. I think that some people might interpret that scripture as the good people being the gold and precious metals, and the wood, hay, and stubble being bad people. But that wasn't how Sky meant it. She's talking about good works, and not so good works that people do. So the way I understand her point is that your good works will stand like gold and precious metals, while anything else you do will burn away like wood in the fire. So she isn't judging people who commit suicide, rather she is saying that their good works will stand and the rest of what they have done will burn away.

None of us are perfect, and who are we to judge anyone? In the end we will all be refined, and the good in us will be purified.
