How about "yes" to all of these? It's okay to have a safe place to talk if that's what you need. It's not okay to ignore the tools you have, though.


I don't see a T now, after going for almost 30 years I have everything in my "toolkit" that I need. Sometimes my psychiatrist will suggest that I go again for a concentrated approach to a problem and that usually works out well.

So no, if you're bipolar you don't "have" to see a T -- but it helps.
