It's not like you can convince them to come back to you, and why would you want to? The relationship sounds very rocky and like it didn't suit your needs or style. Why would you want him back? Rejection truly sucks, yes, and it can hurt, and sometimes very badly, but it truly didn't seem like he was a good match for you at all. He wasn't treating you right at all... You deserve far better. Don't question your decision to say what you did -- sounds like it is best that it ended. This was headed for abuse.
