Like the others have said, tools are coping skills. It could be a CBT thought chart, to DBT mindfulness, etc. It can be meditation, taking a bath, using aromatherapy, a stress ball, ice, playing with a pet, etc. Whatever healthy way to manage your thoughts and emotions.
